Scrabble name plate and Anchor IPA

My niece is visiting this weekend and I couldn't be more excited. I decided to make her name plate for her bedroom.
Here is what you need:
-scrabble pieces
-felt
-glue gun or gorilla glue
- scissors
- embroidery floss or string

And here we go:

Pick your letters.

Start flying the pieces together side by side.

Once your words are glued. Adhere to felt and let dry.

Once your letters dry, Cut the excess felt, try to get it as close to the edge as possible.

Measure your string and cut, glue to the back and your done.

I like this craft so much, I made one for my bathroom.

Beer review

I drank Anchor Steams IPA. This beer is an American style ale with 6.5% ABV.  This beer has a light hops smell. It's slightly citrusy, malty and has a bitter hops finish. Enjoyable beer and would recommend.

Cheers,
Jessi

Housewarming Gift Basket and New Belgium Abby

Housewarming Gift

My friends just bought a new home and I wanted to get them something practical, so I made them a housewarming gift basket.   I got these items either at the dollar store or at home depot. The basket included:

  • Light Bulbs
  • 1 to 3 plug
  • Ant killer
  • Dish washing brush
  • Extension cord
  • Super glue
  • Cleaning wipes
  • Blue tape
  • Batteries

To create the basket, I found a basket that had decorative holes in it and wrap ribbon through the holes.

I tied a bow with the loose ends of the ribbon.

I then fit all the items into the basket.  I put the longer items in the back to gift the basket height.

This is a quick, easy, and inexpensive gift that your friends and family will love and find useful.

Beer Review

This beer had medium body was very refreshing with a slice of pizza.  It's ABV is 7%, but it is not too heavy.
